Baking with the Boys

Earlier this week a few of us got together with the kids to do some Christmas baking. We never actually got to the baking part but the boys had fun coloring pictures, decorating gingerbread men and spreading sprinkles over the house for good cheer. Here are a few pictures taken before it became too chaotic for the camera!

On Saturday I took some family pictures for a friend.  I learned a lot about grain and discovered that there is no shutter speed fast enough for a busy 2 year old ;) 
I had a lot of fun with this one, they are such a wonderful family and their children are the sweetest.

My sister is visiting for the weekend and yesterday I got the chance to sneak a few pictures of her adorable children.

The first snowfall of the season, I'm so excited.  We tried to make a snowman but the dog ate it...seriously!  Time to put up the Christmas decorations :)

The kids and I spent this beautiful day at Gramma and Papa's house. My son was so exhausted after the shoot that he slept for over 3 hours (he never naps that long) Thanks Mom!

Wondering what to blog...

So...I have a blog and I'm still not sure what to do with it. My true interest in photography began 2 years ago with the birth of my son. I found myself wanting to capture every burp, giggle and cry. I bought a new camera, started shooting now here I am...7 weeks after the birth of my baby girl and again I can't get enough.

I am still learning and trying to improve, I don't believe that will ever change. I am excited to begin this journey, wherever it may lead, and hope to help capture the moments of life that inspire us all.
